You enter the Safari Drive at your own risk, we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to your vehicle, including by our animals or electric gates, under any circumstances. Although every effort has been made to maintain the routes, some areas will be uneven with dips, holes and cattle grids. Please exercise caution and do not drive at speed. This does not affect any guest's statutory rights or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

In the event of a breakdown in the Safari Drive, pop your hazard lights on and honk your horn at intervals, and a Safari Ranger will attend. DO NOT leave your vehicle. Should you break down in the free roaming carnivore habitats, our team will be required to tow your vehicle from the reserve to a safer area/out of the Safari Drive. Your are likely to see most of our animals however, due to the nature of our wildlife, sometimes they do rest in areas which are not easy to view, particularly during inclement weather, as we expect our animals to live and act as closely as their species do in the wild. Animal husbandry and health check-ups may also mean that some animals are not visible at certain times. We will not pay compensation where experiences and/or view of the animals is restricted or unavailable.

It is important to note that there may be times where animals remain in their house for their safety. This is particularly the case whenever a severe weather warning is given by the Met Office due to high winds or storms.

If at any time a guest’s standard of behaviour falls below that expected by the Park, the individual may be asked to leave the Park and no refunds will be considered concerning any purchase that may have been made; whilst not an exhaustive list this would include admission charge and wristband/ride tickets. This is without prejudice to any claim that West Midland Safari & Leisure Park may have against such a person or persons arising out of their actions.

West Midland Safari & Leisure Park will not, under any circumstances, tolerate threatening or abusive behaviour towards any member of staff or fellow guests.

Soft-top cars are not permitted through the Carnivore section of the reserve and must follow the bypass signage.  All soft and hard-topped cars must have their roof up in all areas of the reserve. Three-wheelers, motorbikes and non-secure uncovered 4 wheel vehicles (Quadbikes or similar) are not permitted through the safari drive-through. In addition to this, ladders, trailers and any bikes attached to the vehicle must be removed before entering. Externally mounted items such as spare wheels/wheel covers/front or rear spoilers should also be removed to prevent damage.

Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. WMSP takes no responsibility for damage caused to any vehicle using the car park and no guarantee is given as to the security of guest’s vehicles in the car park or any contents.
