Giraffe Feeding

Branches are just £5.00pp - don’t miss this unique experience! At 2:30pm daily plus at 11:00am on weekends and school holidays.
Meerkat Feeding
Get closer than ever to our cheeky meerkats during their daily 3pm talk!
Head down to Meerkat Mayhem, located in African Village and purchase a pot of mealworms for £1.50 and watch as they scurry up for a tasty treat.

Penguin Feeding
Waddle over to our Penguin Cove and get the chance to feed our adorable Humboldt penguins!
During the daily talks at 12:30 and 14:30, you can purchase a pot of sprats for £1.50 and watch as these playful birds enjoy their snack.

Lorikeet Feeding
Step inside our Lorikeet Landing for an unforgettable encounter!
Buy a pot of nectar for £1.50, and watch as vibrant lorikeets swoop down to feed right from your hand - or even perch on your shoulder or head!
Lorikeet Landing is closed between 13:00-14:00 every day.

FEEDING ENCOUNTERS MAP
Please Don’t Feed Animals on the Safari Drive
To help keep our animals safe and healthy, we kindly ask that you do not feed any animals from your car on the Safari Drive. Food brought from home can be harmful to them.
- Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult. The supervising adult is responsible for ensuring the rules and regulations are followed at all times.
- Guests under the age of 4 must be either held in an adult’s arms or have their hand held during feeding.
- For your safety, and the wellbeing of our giraffe, please follow instructions from the staff member throughout.
- Guests should hold the branch at arm’s length at all times.
- Hand sanitisation is recommended after feeding.
- Only food provided by the Park may be fed to the giraffes. No outside food or drink is permitted during the feeding.
- Please be calm and gentle around the giraffes. No shouting, running, or sudden movements near the animals.
- Feeding encounters are subject to animal participation and weather conditions. No refunds will be given if giraffes choose not to participate or if the session is cancelled for safety reasons.
- Giraffe feeding is available at set times and is subject to availability each day. Spaces may be limited.
- Photos are welcome, but please do not use flash photography near the giraffes.
- The Park reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest not following staff instructions or behaving in a way that may endanger themselves, others, or the animals.
- Please feed but don’t touch! Our giraffes love a tasty snack, but please do not touch them.
