SEE THE PARK'S
INDONESIAN ANIMALS

Look out for the beautiful banteng and shy lowland anoa on your trip around the Safari Drive.

Lowland anoa are the smallest of all cattle species and are listed as 'endangered', whereas banteng are 'critically endangered', with fewer than 8,000 remaining in the wild.

On the Safari Walk, at Tiger Tropics, you can spot our Sumatran tiger family – mum Dourga and her one-year-old cubs Naresh, Nadirah and Nova. These tigers are listed as 'critically endangered', with around 400 left in the wild.

Having these three Indonesian species at the Park is incredibly important, as they are all part of collaborative endangered species breeding programmes that aim to protect their numbers.
