Students Celebrate Fantastic Exam Success
We're pleased to announce that our Education Team are celebrating another year of exceptional further education exam results.
Students who attend our Safari Academy, achieved an impressive overall pass rate of 91% across the Animal Care and Animal Management Courses, including land-based and technical qualifications, delivered in partnership with Kidderminster College.
The achievement continues a strong tradition of academic success for the unique animal care provision, which combines classroom learning with hands-on experience in a working zoological environment.
Students across all four of our programmes achieved excellent results, but particularly noteworthy was the success of the Level 3 Year 2 cohort, with every student securing the grades needed to progress to university, opening the door to careers in animal management, conservation, veterinary sciences and related industries.
This year also marks a historic milestone for the Safari Academy, with one student achieving the first ever Triple Distinction* achievement.
The outstanding result represents the highest level of attainment and is a testament to the hard work, determination and talent of the student involved.

Their confidence has flourished, their social skills have developed enormously, and they have gained a wide range of transferable skills that will support them throughout their future careers. It has been wonderful to watch them mature into capable, professional young people and we couldn't be prouder of their achievements. These results reflect not only academic success but also the personal journeys our students have made over the year.

The Safari Academy, based at West Midlands Safari Park continues to provide students with a unique learning experience, in partnership with Kidderminster College.
Learners study alongside experienced education professionals and animal keepers, gaining practical skills and industry knowledge that prepare them for a wide range of progression opportunities.
Each year, the Education Team deliver conservation sessions to around 35,000 school children and lecture up to 70 further education students, moving towards their aim of inspiring the next generation of conservationists.
