Blesbok
Blesbok are striking antelope native to the open grasslands of South Africa, where their bold facial markings make them easy to recognise. Their distinctive white blaze, divided by a horizontal brown band, is one of their most characteristic features.
These social animals are typically seen grazing in herds across wide, open landscapes, where their alert nature helps them stay aware of potential predators. Both males and females carry ringed horns, adding to their impressive appearance.
Blesbok depend on access to regular water sources and spend much of their time grazing on grasses throughout the day. Their strong herd behaviour and speed make them well adapted to life on the plains.
